My second week of school! How... "wonderful"!

Monday's 5 hours of lessons were not as bad as i expected, with ctw being the worst because she spent an hour on admin stuffs! Had no idea what was going on on tuesday's 8am lecture because i was half asleep and had no idea what he was talking about. Pressure? Temperature? Had a 'surprise' quiz for chem on thursday. She said no talking to each other yet there was frequent murmuring during the 15mins we were allowed to write. I was one of them who was discussing with cheryl. HA! Got totally influenced by cheryl and her online shopping websites. Asked her to order some for me! Tutor spent 1hr 20 mins on one tutorial for ctw, and 20mins on the other. She simply didnt want to let us off early! Met reynold & kenneth while waiting for btc, to go home. They were such 'good friends'... reserving places for each other in the bus! haha.

Fred gave us socks bought from his trip to korea during the holidays. We gave the super pink one to siongkiat!

Met wenxin on the mrt on the way to school on friday! Havent seen her for a long long long long time. Talked to her till she got down so i didnt get a chance to fight for a place on the train to get about 20mins of sleep. Math lecture on DE was ???. Then cn tutorial at 10am. Everyone crashed our slot... so the classroom was filled and everybody was fighting to present their answers on the board to get extra marks. RARR! Ate lunch with mabell at technoedge. Ate from the new jap stall! Was quite nice, although mabell's curry fish just looked like fish without curry. Arts jap stall is way better!

YAY! It's CHINESE NEW YEAR! No school till next thursday for me! But am going to rot at home since there's no one to visit. (But that's still better than going back to malaysia!)~

First week of sem2 was... tiring. I'm not used to waking up at 6am 2 days a week! And staying in engin the whole day/week is seriously boring. I'm gonna be eating at technoedge from now onwards. So last sem i complained about having to run from faculty to faculty. Now that i'm finally staying put, i'm complaining again. 人就是这样! Anyway, some tutorials are (irritatingly) starting this week and so is CTW. There goes my relaxed week. But my school ends on friday 11am and then it's chinese new year till next thu! Yay! I want more mac breakfast...

I worried throughout the whole weekend about getting ctw. And guess what? I got it for 1 point. Cheryl & PS got it too! I wonder who else...

Anyway, sick: sore throat, runny nose & headache.

WHY must i fall sick one week before school starts?! ~

Went to meet 4a2 clique yesterday at celene's house! First ah ruo, serene, se ying & i stopped by j8 to buy food for pot luck. Ah ruo bought bananas so we decided to make chocolate fondue! I bought the chocolate & se ying bought strawberries. Took a bus to cel's house to meet the rest and embarked on melting the chocolate & cutting the fruits. Melting the chocolate wasn't very successful because it wasn't the chocolate made for fondue. Here's one picture (stolen from dear ah ruo's blog because she hasn't uploaded the photos to fb yet!)


Luckily sharon & jas managed to salvage it for us to enjoy our chocolate fondue!

Had dinner after that. It was too much food, considering the fact that we already ate lots of fruits & chocolate and xinyi's egg sandwiches!

Went to her basement with the intention of watching tv or singing K, but it was so dark because we didnt switch on the light so someone came up with the idea of playing blind mice! We've been playing that since we were in secondary school. Though turning 20 this year (RARR), we're still secondary school kids at heart! Cel's bf says serene looks 16.

After that se ying was singing and people like sharon, jas and i were just looking. Everyone rushed upstairs to watch little nonya at 9 because many were crazy over the show. Few of them went home shortly after 10, serene, se ying & i stayed on for a while. Serene & i were looking at her huge aquarium. Cel said her lobster ate all the fish! Anyway, dear came to pick me up, thanks dear! =)

Had a great time with them yesterday. Missed their craziness. Going out again today. And tomorrow. Think mom's going to kill me.

People have retracted their bids for ctw. So it's not so bad now. I hope it stays that way! RARR~

This is semester 2. And i still HATE bidding.

Can't believe they left only 4 (FOUR) vacancies per class for ctw for us to BID. WTH. ~

2009, here i come! Just a note: the headlines on the papers today (on the first day of a new year) is super depressing. What a good way to start the new year -.-'''

Anyway, my filter in my fish tank decided to retire at the end of 2008. It didn't want to work in 2009 anymore. I spent half of the afternoon yesterday running to buy a new one & figuring out how to use it. Dear helped a bit in the fixing and gave me flowers! =)



So after that went down to marina to do some shopping. I bought a handbag! But i should really stop spending money. Ate dinner and joined the crowd at marina/esplanade in waiting for the countdown & fireworks. Sat near the floating platform enjoying free music from the countdown party from 8.30 all the way till 12. YEA. I know i'm mad to join in the crowd on new year's eve
& to sit there for 3.5 hours. But there were many people there as well! The crowd thickened at about 10pm... all waiting for the fireworks.

So after midnight, dear and i went to clarke quay to meet farah. Massive jam at major roads because some were blocked. Stayed there for a while but started to feel really really sleepy. So dear sent me home. Almost KO-ed in the car. Haha.
