PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS PART 2

ECONOMICS PAPER 1: both case studies on globalisation!!! how much worse can this get?! i know they think it'll come out for A's, but that doesnt mean both has to be that! what if it doesnt come out?
CHEMISTRY PAPER 1/2: paper two was surprisingly easy. and paper one was horrendously difficult.
MATH PAPER 2: i almost died of frustration because of the pure math
PHYSICS PAPER 1/2: paper one was alright. and for once this year, paper 2 was doable!

AND PRELIMS ARE FINALLY OVER! i waited for this day for very long. and now i'm waiting for exactly two months, for A's to be over.

but guess what? after physics paper today, mr ong said "dont go yet. we're returning your paper three". "HUH?!" yeah. think it took some time for us to process that. anyway, didnt do too well, because i was half asleep doing that paper. damn it.

poor classmates had to go home to study. that's why i didnt take h3. yiling, ghis and i went out. tired of town, we went to amk hub, dont ask why. we went to watch evan almighty. because ghis said she could watch ratatouille online. blahs. thought it was quite okay, but what i really took back from the movie was that if you pray and ask God for anything, He won't give it to you directly, but create opportunities to help you attain it. Which is true, because many a times i've prayed and expected it to just come to me, without giving thought to whether there are opportunities to train my character. i've prayed for discipline & perseverance to go through this two months, and what he's given me are situations and temptations to deal with. =)

anyway, after the few days break, it's back to studying. and no. i'm not as free as a bird. they've set us dozens of homework to be done over the weekend. ha. after that it's going through papers and then study break and then the real thing.

and whatever for now. i'm not about to spend all my time blogging. ~

2007 PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS

PHYSICS PAPER 3: i wasn't sure of 40% of it.
ECONS PAPER 2: my hand almost dropped off. i hope i do well.
MATH PAPER 1: i need this A!! a few careless mistakes
CHEMISTRY PAPER 3: i'm depressed.

whatever it is, i am dying from the stress, the force per unit area (pressure), and being unable to go where i want. lucky there's time for me to stone today and tomorrow. before the whole damn cycle repeats itself again next week. i'm letting everything go for a few days after sept 20. if not i'll probably fall into depression.~

yesterday was teachers day! went to school in the morning for teachers' day celebration. ms chua won some award. we went to find all our teachers to express our gratitude to them. haha.

some of us were going back to our sec school, including me! met ah ruo and serene first, before mking it back to pl!! yay!! met jaime there. gosh.. it's been ____?? since i met her! she told us that there was a 'seven-eleven' in school... and true enough... omg! pl is rich and it's all thanks to our batch! haha. why didnt we get to enjoy this!!! argh! met glynnis and angela too. and 2 of the sec3s greeted me! muahaha!

and what's more... they have a photo printing machine! the one where u upload your photos and print it on photo paper. argh!!! i'm jealous! so i printed out two pictures, one below and the one with s15 above.

then ah ruo and i went up to the primary school. ah... nostalgia. there were fellow eighteen year olds there as well. felt so old.

so as you can see, pl has changed a lot since we left. and i feel that what pl is lacking now is the warmth that it once had as a school, maybe it's because of the new surroundings, or maybe it's because we left. i dont know. i miss the old pl!

yah. i know. 'i should be studying.' getting back to that right now.~
