Last day of 2008! And approximately 13 hours till 2009.

This year has been crazy for me. So much change, so many transitions. First, there's a transition from being a jc 'kid' to a tertiary student. (And unfortunately, a rise in the bus fare from 45 cents for the last 10+ years to 71 cents now!) Anyway, as mentioned in the beginning of the year, it's one of those unusual years where I dont have to go to school in January! That was the start of my 'working' life which had its good & bad. Seriously, the job scope sucks and so does the pay and the working hours and i wished i found a better job but there are still things to be thankful for.

I'm thankful for the friends i met there because they were all the same age, all A level graduates waiting for results. It made it easier for everyone to clique since we had a lot in common. I'm thankful for the crazy times we had together, the overtimes during work, the outings, finishing all the snacks perms bought and just talking/gossiping about people during lunch. HAHA.

My contract lasted till April 12 but i chose to stay on despite how much we suffered everyday under the hands of those nasty customers. Should have left at the end of May, if not for one person who was holding me back, making me so reluctant to leave so 'early'. That's also the last thing I'm thankful for in finding this job because if i had decided to turn down the offer, i never would have met him! =)

So after wasting 6 months of my life away not using my brain at all, I finally returned to school! The 2nd transition this year. I never regretted joining CheSS camp because i found so many good friends there! Yay for Upapa! Without them i wouldn't have anyone to sit or study with during lectures & breaks and i wouldn't be able to get help for my school work!

Life in uni is totally different because you get to plan your time table on your own! (Which in the end caused me so much stress and it turned out horrendous) Anyway, I feel like i've studied years worth of A level content within 4 months. The workload is high (and will become worse) and time is so limited. Whoever said that you have lots of time to play in university is obviously lying! Exams were a total nightmare, never took such a difficult math paper in my whole life. I think it's going to get more difficult. Yet i thank God for my results, which weren't as bad as i expected, which looked quite good to me. And I'm also thankful for dear who supported (and tolerated) me throughout the semester in times of stress & uncertainty and all the help he provided! Nevertheless, i survived my very first semester in nus chem eng! 7 more to go! HELLO CN1111, CM1502, IT1005, MA1506! Please don't make life difficult for me!

Well, besides academic life in school, there is of course a social life. So many are attached! -No elaboration needed- But we've all been so busy with our own lives & school that we hardly have time to meet. I miss my pl clique, we met quite a few times this year but i missed the last one because i was in malaysia! I miss S15 gals whom i got to meet a few weeks ago but not all were present. 3 of them are going abroad for studies next year. I want to wish them all the best! But we won't be able to meet as often. I miss wols and havent met them for quite a while because i missed the last meeting as well because i was down with some viral infection that made me lie in bed with a fever for a week! Hope we'll be able to meet more next year.

Anyway, it's back to school this Jan 12 2009. First it's bidding time again on 2nd jan. Gosh i want more holiday! Yet i'm totally bored at home. I should just welcome more mugging and falling asleep during lectures.

2008 has been quite a good year for me. I pray the same for 2009. Welcome new year!~

I think this blogskin is simply cute! Don't scold me for being childish. Just took this 'real age test' quiz on facebook and my real age is 9! HAHA! I'm just a childish 9 year old kid. But i already removed a lot of things that made the template look more childish! Ha!

Watched Bedtime Stories on Sat with dear. Think we jinxed the whole cine because when we were buying tickets their whole system hanged and they couldnt make any bookings, resulting in an extremely long queue for cinema tickets! Anyway, the movie was good! And extremely funny! You should watch it!

Went to East Coast Park ytd to cycle! Cycled all the way to one end of east coast and was so tired. Leg muscles were aching. Think I need to work my muscles more. Or maybe i'm growing old. Intended to blade after that but was too tired after cycling for 2hours so went to arcade! Played this throwing ball game & mario kart and a few others. Now my arm muscles are aching too.

So am going to be a good girl today and stay home to rest my limbs, before i start walking like a lao ah ma. School starts in 2 weeks! Dreadful... ~

BACK!! So glad to be.. I miss my laptop, my tv, my bed, my FREE sms & calls, my friends and mostly you!

I need to do some serious exercise. I need to lose all that weight gained from the past 10 days... before i get back to school.

Speaking of school... Results in 2days! ARGH!~
