woRk today. graCe is back!! yay!! anyway, cal picked up this call frm a sub who was really really really nasty. like... ultimate nasty. heard he made another girl cry before... cursed her family etc. goodness. first he demanded another set of pps to be delivered within half an hour, then within 10mins. and wanted to speak to the senior manager or something. had to call up boss and big boss also. really freaky! the whole cs was in a fluster. because pstops were done without telling us the reason. twds the end was better. went ard trying to make people finish the donuts.

went to heartland after that. to meet felicia and min wei. they took so long! fortunately met cherina and jasmine and learnt that campcraft com was postponed to next week. so walked ard... cherina is still the same! lol. went to eat yoshi with fel and mw, then they let me go cut my hair before going bowling! went to jean yip.. cut thin. and the guy used the hot iron to straighten my hair! so now am enjoying about 24hours of straight hair, before i wash it tmr and become curly again. =)

they couldnt recognise me because of my hair. felicia called me from outside the shop. lol! then went downstairs... but i went up again to find calina, who was going for facial. let her see my straight hair!! haha. then went to join the 2 of them for bowling again. felicia's really good... she should have just joined nj bowling. i've obviously lost my skills.

went to the shop at the mrt station... min wei bought a few shirts really cheap.. felicia was rushing for church so she said every shirt was beautiful. think she took a cab all the way to expo.

good to meet up with them agn! havent seen them for really long!!

monday - filled with voicemails.

a well-deserved rest on tue.

wed was totally gone. people at work: jac, eil, me, yh, wil, jamie, janice. almost died taking calls and vmails. yh almost died from finishing tnp.

thu was lonely. sat alone without the company of calina who was sick.

fri was alright. all the fluster due to timesheet. stupid sub... dont know what she was talking about.

went to hand in timesheet today with jac, cal & wk. the rest backed out at the last min. almost didnt want to hand in for them. met yili at the office!! then we went down to meridien to eat korean again. my 3rd time in 1 week. and to collect 23 FREE donuts. the person behind the counter was super bu shuang because of the 23. wk at his 3 at once, while my, jac and cal brought home our 3. the rest are to be brought to the office tmr. the 2 guys are super "yg", they ate jac & my hello panda! the bbq and cheese flavoured! they just took the whole packet and ate it all! eil couldnt finish the seaweed i gave her, so she threw it over to them. they really eat a lot.

felt super sian this week. time crawled and it virtually came to a stop in the afternoons. she's not so bad already. the other's becoming more irritating.

well anyway, wed was the 1st time i ever took the 6.05pm bus. went to city hall to meet s15 classmates! went to thai express to eat. ghis had a buffet lunch courtesy of her boss so she didnt eat. good life. anyway, as usual, we couldnt stop talking about our experiences at work. fel's was especially interesting and funny. lyn went off first, we walked ard raffles city. then went to citylink to eat dessert. ended up at gelare, 5 of us shared one choc overload ice cream... while py ate 2 of her donuts. they took turns to draw out the layout of her house... think ghis took the longest as usual. she took damn long to explain her experience in the mrt in the morning, where someone almost fainted on her. was super sleepy on the way back. nevertheless, it was really great to meet up with them.

only after we all split and meet up again that we treasure the times we had tgt, be it with sec, jc classmates or even wols. we have no time to meet up nowadays!

so many people left early on thu and fri frm work, leaving the same few of us to stay till 6.30pm. grace is going to hk today! i'll miss her!! miss asking her questions and throwing her all my difficult cases. oops. it'll only be me and cal next week. anyway, after work ytd jacynth, james and i went to cine. james didnt wanna tell us what he was doing there. in the end we almost beat him up because he made us walk all the way just to get the installation cd for an online game! -.-''' took a bus back to meridien foodcourt to eat. jac and i wanted to make james pay for our meal cuz he made us wait. he bought us the guo tie in the end. lol. ate korean. think after my trip to korea, all kimchi made here is really disgusting! haha.

we went to collect our free donuts! almost wanted to eat wilson's 4 donuts up. he gave me his coupons! lol. then walked to ps to walk ard before going home. the donuts were quite a hit at home... think all is gone except the one i reserved for myself. lol. ~

work today was alright i guess. fewer nasty subs. and only 1 abandoned english pps call!! phone was down this morning. so had to sit at wilson's place... leaving grace alone!! i missed asking her questions. and talking to her. and my place is definitely better, secluded and more private. well anyway, eileen & i were talking to yh & wk and got caught by boss. oops.

after work the rest went to sing k.. leaving emelyn, boss and i on the bus. seems like almost everyone at work has watched jumper, so emelyn and i were discussing about the movie in the bus. was talking to boss abt her 6 yr old daughter going for abacus class. reminded me of the time i had to learn it... i just used my fingers to count!

met shafik, raf, jaime & edwin at heartland. it's been many many many months since i've gone there. not much has changed. the arcade has though. edwin challenged jaime and i to that hitting game. i lost! haha. they wanted to buy toto so they were taking down our fav numbers. top prize is $10m! they were discussing what they were going to do with the money if they ever won. waited for about half an hour for edwin's bus, so i guess we got even more time to talk to one another. they were talking about going clubbing. hopefully they'll be able to book whenever.. it'll be quite fun!

those at work are going drinking tonight. didnt want to go firstly cuz i think i drank too much soju in korea last week, secondly cuz i need to lose weight from all the eating in korea and alcohol contains fats! heard the last time they went... 2 people ended up vomiting!

well anyway, it was good to meet with 5 of them today. after so long! havent seen them since b4 A's! still as crazy and up to their usual mischief. a lot of talk abt np... which i cant rmb much! seems like my memory's failing. couldnt even rmb what standard deviation was in maths stats. gave ah ruo that ??? face during vday. lol. yep. so just listened to the 3 guys talk abt np.

anyway, i bought shuang mian fei lun hai. yeah. i know i'm slow. ~

Happy Valentines day! yea yea. all the presents!! all us temps were exchanging presents. gosh, i think i need to highlight my most expensive vday present for this year. wilson bought for all of us temps those hp personalised chains... those 90 cents per letter chain. there are 9 of us, so i'm wondering how much he spent. and he gave roses too!! he's rich. anyway, 2 people took leave, another 2 took half day and another 2 took urgent leave! leaving the few of us to die taking calls. many turbo notes popped up saying "pls avail". sick of that word alr.

well anyway, after work, went to lido to wait for yq and the rest who were eating at vivo where se ying was working. couldnt have dinner with them, so had dinner at lido with wilson & james. seems like i was their 'lightbulb'. met xinyi first. and we were late for the movie! missed abt 10mins of jumper... okay. about the show. it was quite short! and the ending was so sudden... i sat there in disbelief for a while. but it's still super cool... being able to jump anywhere. but the ending's really lame. went to sit down and talk after that. we didnt have much time cuz all of us had to work the next day. so i guess we couldnt update ourselves that much. but it's still really great to meet up with them!!

Happy birthday Calina!

at about 5pm we ran out to light the candles... took quite a long time waiting for everyone to come out. and by 6 we were walking ard and playing. she received a big pink bear bear as well as a cushion. wonder how she brought it back.

have to work tmr. looking forward to one day when i dont have to work and can just stay at home the whole day. hopefully next week. =) ~

i'm back!!! from korea! yeah! from one week of cold, dryness, kimchi, steamboat & pork. yes, i dont want to experience or eat these few things for the next month or so. well anyway, besides longing for my bed, singapore's warm and moist weather, it was really fun! went to so many places that we cant even rmb all of them! the guide was good... he was previously a doctor so he had many healthy stuff to share.

must still be in the holiday mood, because i was really sleepy and blur today at work. grace almost wanted to kill me because i asked her so many questions that werent necessary. well, for pics, visit facebook! not gg to upload them here.

work has become stressful again. ARGH!~

let's talk about today. it's maddening enough. firstly, there were only 7 of us GIRLS working today. Secondly, we're not that competitive nor efficient in answering calls. thirdly, the number of calls & vmails were overwhelming. furthermore, not all 7 of us were answering calls. the result? 55 of out 210 calls were abandoned (average days can be 400 calls with only abt 15 abandoned). not only that, the number of vmails to clear were equivalent to the number over the weekend (meaning sat afterno0n/sun/mon morning). there were hundreds of non delivery cases and uncontactable vendors. probably all in holiday mood.

AND IT'S ALL HER FAULT! SHE JUST HAD TO REARRANGE ALL OF US.

grace said she's always like that. it's no wonder they cant take it. what more us temps who are just staying for a few months? anyway, today was extremely stressful, i had tons of vmails to clear in 4.5hrs, calina had to clear emails & avail at the same time, priya also, grace was handling nasty subs whom we threw to her as well as courier, leaving 3 people to answer the mountaining number of calls. longest call wait was 12mins... which we havent seen in a long time. i seriously needed help, but no one could, not that they didnt want to, but because they were all also extremely busy and stressed. eileen helped me with a few, and i'm grateful for that! the joy that we all felt was indescribable.

after that, relived to get out of the foul mood in the morning, i went down to marina sq to meet yiling and the rest! anne marie, ghis and fel were there too, along with yiling's cute little sister. catching up over lunch about what's been happening to us so far was good and it felt great to be around familiar faces and talk till your mouth's dry. yiling showed us the pics of her in canada. we walked around and played with her sister... so cute! and then ate ice cream! we couldnt stop talking because we havent met for a while. we should meet more often. envied yiling's sister because it's just so great to be so innocent with no worries whatsoever. no need to worry about exams, work, personal problems, emotions etc. anyway, had a great time with them.. hopefully able to go bai nian with them during the 15days of cny!

anyway, got a bit of a shock this morning when i realised i'm flying off tmr. havent really packed my personal items yet. dont really know what's going on. i'll miss my bed!! but still excited about it! it's been too long since i've been for a holiday. people are requesting for lots of korean food... and lots of authentic kimchi!! yay!! well anyway, it's good the have some rest from work be it school or a job. ~

yiling is back!!! YaY! missed heR! called her the moment she reached changi airport. glad that am able to meet her before i go off on sunday. or not i wont get to see her for another week!! so sad.

mum is currently packing and digging out all my thick clothes.

anyway. SHE is terribly annoying and irritating. SHE has to just come and annoy me every other day. one day i'm going to rebel. but what i really cannot stand or tolerate is HER ability to throw everything at us and go ard and chat. SHE obviously doesnt understand our generation. good luck to her kids next time. SHE demands things that are not necessary. life would be MUCH better without her. like how it was previously. How i wish i could tell HER to get lost and never come back.

No point getting any angrier... because it's a totally hopeless case.

These days friends (or is it colleagues?) have been competing at work, for the number of calls they take... pretty fun & funny people... and way crazy. their ways are pretty much different from those i've met in school, and it's interesting meeting different kinds of people. miss those school days tho.

though work is tough, the people are fun. but i'm still glad i dont need to work for the next week! i need a break. yay. looking forward to it.

if i don't make sense, it's because my eyes are closing in front of the com. zZzZz~

work is still not fun or enjoyable. the shit that you get from people everyday just makes you want to kill them or curse them. yet work still brings a lot of laughter because of the many hilarious stories that your colleagues tell. i must admit that some customers are really really nice, cant believe they're so patient with us temps. and all us temps, being the same age and same batch, have a lot in common, so there's not much disparity.

anyway, a few of us had an outing ytd. eileen helped us hand in our time sheet. wilson drove calina, jacynth, grace, emelyn, wk & yh to paragon to eat dinner at thai express. we were making so much noise in the car. we met eil & her class there. after that we somehow decided to 'chill out'... so wilson brought us to what seemed like an ulu place and really dark.. but there were many shops and pubs. we went to a pub... we shared a vodka cranberry, while grace and wilson drank beer. gosh... it was really strong. stronger than the vodka lime during post prom. calina drank sprite cuz she said she was 'driving'. naturally we turned red, wk, yh and i. jacynth wasnt! had some finger food... and i think jacynth and i went high. anyway, after one glass, i was really really really red and felt really sleepy. lol. looks like my 'jiu liang' is really bad. had lots of fun... but really cldnt take it anymore... so we all went home. in the car, jacynth and i were singing ella, ella... ha.

he dropped us at ps... we took mrt home. shared a cab with wk from srgn... too lazy to take a bus. came home and totally ko till this morning. well... all of us didnt have to work except for wilson! haha.

i finally get to wake up without the alarm ringing into my ears every morning. ~

2008, a year i finally don't need to go to school on the 2nd daY (or 3rd) of the new year!

But... wHY is it that i dread going to school when i have to, and i'd rather go back to school when i dont have to? (i'd really rather go study than go work)

I'm glad 2007 is finally over, it wasnt a very great year not only because of exams but because of some other reasons i am not about to reveal. A new year brings new hopes, dreams and more memories.

I would like to express my condolences to those who knew Mr stephen loh, especially those in NJ who knew him.

May he rest in peace.

This incident has really made me realise that life is frail. I know it's cliched but it's only when someone whom you know leaves you that you'll finally realise how a person can just be here one instant and gone in the next. And you never know why God chose to take him/her away this early. Life is frail. Treasure it.~
